For decades, the industry standard for fast curing agents were the so-called "Mannich bases", which, however, are formulated on the basis of phenol or alkylphenols. Epoxy systems with these hardeners show a strong tendency to yellow. With ipox EH 2216, a hardener is now available that meets the requirements for fast through-curing even at low temperatures - and at the same time has a low tendency to yellowing.
- ipox EH 2216 has a low viscosity and is ideally suited for low temperatures up to 5°C.
- Thanks to a low tendency to yellowing, it is also an ideal product for topcoats.
